Heather MacGregor

The paintings engage with a variety of subjects to explore sensory experience and response, both real and imagined. Some of the new work this year focuses on the river Stour. Heather does not have a traditional art school background. She moved into painting from work in textiles, music, drama and environmental education. Her development as a painter has been nurtured by a variety of inspirational artists with whom she has studied in the past decade. Heather continues to run occasional workshops to share her approach to drawing and painting.
